It's been a really long time since I've done this, and it took me a few minutes to actually find what I needed to click to actually write one of these things. Anyhow, what do I have to say? Not much right now I guess, maybe I'll have more in the future. It's not like anyone is going to read this anyway. Seriously, no one. So I guess I'm basically writing to myself right now, which is actually pretty rad. So, that's the way I am going to continue writing this. Sorry to anyone who actually does read this...

I didn't have a job all winter. It was actually kind of fun. I thought I would want to shoot myself in the face just to break the monotony, but I really enjoyed having a break. It was also fun not working at the same time that Rob had to find a new job. Hooray for lots of time together

Yeah folks, that's a freaking heart smiley face. About a boy. An awesome boy that I happened to find on eHarmony of all places. So yes, it does work. I could probably write a lot of things about him, but maybe that should be confined to a real journal that doesn't have the chance of being read by others. Actually that's a really good idea. Screw Xanga, I'm gonna write in a real journal tonight.

Also, for some odd reason, the spell checker on Xanga thinks that Xanga is spelled wrong.
And by the way, that picture up there is of me and Rob at Halloween. We went as Arthur Dent (me) and Ford Prefect (him) from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was awesome until Jarod broke his leg while bowling.

Well dang, its been quite a while. In between my last entry and now, I have:

1. Graduated from college
2. Gone an entire summer without working thanks to my store closing at Easter at the mall
3. Moved to Philadelphia to live with my brother and a few other awesome people
4. Gotten a job at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site
5. Become even more awesome than I already was, which I didn't think was possible

So, overall its been a pretty intense year so far. Good times.

here comes my new entry! woohoo!

so i guess a lot has happened since my last real entry, which was november or something like that. christmas happened in there sometime. it was alright, nothing extraordinarily crazy-awesome or anything, but fun. i got a giant box of dunkaroos, which was incredible (thanks, amanda).

i got amanda a cool board game from goodwill. however, i neglected to check if it had all the pieces before i bought it. it turns out that it had no pieces, just the board.

this is what i got zack for christmas. i think they were the coolest. presents. ever.

and in return, he got me this for christmas:

the hat says: I WILL NOT BE FORCED TO LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO ACCOMODATE ILLEGALS IN MY COUNTRY! freaking hilarious.

so yeah, christmas was fun. my good friend mandy matthews from high school got married during christmas break, too. that was crazy. here we are:

we also started going to this rad karoke bar in lancaster. man, that place is the best ever. i will never be able to thank my cousin steph enough for telling us about it.

oh, and some other people got freaking married last fall. first, i'll put up a picture of my good friend anna shaw, who married josh heindel. then, my friend florence who's from france got married this past september, so i'll post a picture of her too.

that's obviously the two of them, and they are standing with Flo's family. that family rules. i love them.

i think that will do it for pictures. anyway, i've started my final semester of college and am now about a month into it. i still can't believe that i will be done with undergrad in a few short months. it never ceases to blow my mind. i don't know how much i will miss this area when i leave, but i will miss my friends i've made here dearly, i really will. what makes it even harder is that i don't know if i will ever see them again after i graduate. this place is just too far away to make a casual trip to. oh well, i will just enjoy what time i have left here.

i'm actually xanga-ed out for now, i think. so, this will be it for today. i expect i'll be back in a day or so to either cry and moan about how the patriots won the super bowl, or be happy that they were beat by the giants. lets hope its the latter rather than the former...

i realized that it has been an exceptionally long time since i've updated on here. oops.

so this week is thanksgiving. i am madd freaking excited about it, too. first of all, because i get to go home for almost a week. second, because i get to gorge myself on delicious food not once, but twice. hooray! man, i am getting hungry just thinking about it. holy crap. mmmmmm.......

so what happened between my last entry and now?? well, i went to the first convention in scranton for the show "the office" and it was freaking awesome! me and amanda went. i definitely came home just to go to that stupid thing. so we wandered around scranton all day saturday, watched creed and darryl sing some songs, and then went to a q&a session with all the cast members that were there (which was pretty much everyone except for pam, jim, michael, and dwight). but yeah, it was freaking intense. it made me love the show even more, if thats possible.

and i got to register for my classes for next semester. i'm taking pottery and i'm stoked about it. other than that, i'm taking a million classes (7 to be exact), for a total of 21 credits. now that freaking blows. my last semester of my senior year of college will most likely be my hardest. now that just doesn't seem right to me. this should be my easiest semester. or at least i think it should be.

yeah, i think i'm done writing now. sorry this is pretty boring. but its your fault for reading it. sucks to be you.

last week i drove over 3000 miles. those miles took me to many places, which i will now tell you about.....

i left school last friday night and got to harrisonburg, where i got to see some crazy emu kids, which was excellent. i love those kids. so the next day i headed home and got to go to the freaking ephrata fair that night with my brother and sister, which was freaking awesome. we got goldfish, toasted cheeseburgers, and waffle ice cream sandwiches. i love the fair.

on sunday i went to a wedding in freaking maryland, so now anna shaw is now officially anna heindel, which is crazy. i still can't believe that her and josh are married. the wedding was awesome though, it was real chill and laid back, and it was a gorgeous day which was awesome since it was outside. it was nice to reconnect with people that i haven't seen for a long time too. it was just an overall great time. man, those two are gonna have some crazy go nuts kids....

so next up was some family time, and a spectacular lunch at my grandparent's house. my dad decided that it would be a good idea to re-stain our deck the weekend that everybody in the family was actually home for once. so, we had our deck table and chairs stacked up in our living room, and five nelsons somehow had to maneuver around them. it was great.

so, after a delicious lunch of sausage with my grandparents and my sister, i head off to the foreign land of northern pennsylvania to spend some time with, wait for it.......my boyfriend. bahahaha! that's right folks, you did not read that wrong. so anyhow, i spent a few days up there, had a good time of course. we saw the movie "3:10 to Yuma" and i thought it was pretty good, and of course my opinion is the only one that matters. anyhow, i left on wednesday to come back home, which wasn't too fun.

so i came home and spent the rest of the week hanging out with my family. i also spent some time with my friend carlie. we went to a punk rock craft show at the chameleon club in lancaster. it was intense. it was quite possibly the coolest thing i have ever been to. and i ran into my cousin and her boyfriend there too, which made it all the better. then saturday night my dad made ribs on the grill, so we sat around and ate like cavemen, and my nana showed up too, and zack was there, so it was a lovely night. oh yeah, and me and amanda went to see jarod at his apartment in philly that friday night too.

i guess that about wraps up my fall break. it was a freaking good week. i was not ready to come back to school at all. oh, and i somehow made it all the way from pennsylvania to kentucky in about 8.5 hours. i really don't know how i managed to do that. and i didn't get hit by any deer this time, so that's always good.

its time for another entry! hooray!

i realized that its been about a month since i wrote anything, so i thought i would give a little update. so i'm going to the wedding of the one and only anna shaw this sunday. i can't believe she's getting married. crazy anna. i am so excited to be there. and since i'm gonna be home for that, i'm extending my fall break to last all of next week, not just next thursday and friday. SO, if you will be in the lancaster area and would be interested in getting together at some point, let me know! its not like anyone reads this anymore to even hear that, but oh well.

i think that's it for now. i'll give an extended update after my fall break, i'm sure i'll have some neat and exciting things to talk about then.
